Wireless Home Networking Setup and Configuration

A wireless router allows you to share a single internet connection which is shared by multiple computers and devices.  You can access the internet anywhere in your home as long as your computer or device supports wireless connections.  You can also share files between computers and share a printer.  A wireless router acts as the "centerpiece" of your network.  The wireless router connects to your modem and distributes the internet connection to all of your devices.

I can setup and configure your wireless router, connect all your devices to it and secure your router so it will only be used by you and your family. 

Dust Removal

If you have owned your computer for a while and have never had your computer serviced, you probably already have a problem.  It's called dust and it affects all computers whether they have sat in your home for several weeks or several years.  Dust causes problems with your computer and can even slow it down.

I can open up your computer and clean out all the dust.  If your computer is under warranty, I would recommend calling them to find out the best course of action because simply opening up your computer can void the warranty.

WIndows Installation

If your computer is slow and you would like it to run as if it was brand new, or you think there are too many problems to fix and rather just restore your computer, I can install a fresh copy of windows onto your computer as long as you own a copy of windows and a valid product key.

Upgrading

Why unplug your computer and haul it to a high priced computer service store?  I can come right to your home and upgrade your computer for you at a very reasonable price.

Spyware Removal

Spyware are programs that can monitor your internet usage and can even invade your privacy.  I will use two programs called Ad-Aware and Spybot to remove these harmful spyware programs off of your computer.  Since these programs are absolutely free, they can remain on your computer and I can train you how to use them after I leave.

Virus Protection

Every week, dozens of virus programs are created and circulated throughout the internet.  Viruses are very harmful programs that can crash your computer, delete important files or steal private information.  There are programs out there that can protect you from these viruses and can remove them if found.  

If you have purchased a Norton or Symantec antivirus program, I can install and configure these programs onto your computer.  If you can't afford any Antivirus programs, then I can put a free antivirus program on your computer and verify your firewall is enabled which can prevent viruses from entering into your computer.

If you are you tired of errors or can't seem to figure out a problem with your computer, I can diagnose and fix problems with your computer.

Data Backup

If you have information on your computer which you don't want to lose if your computer crashes and have a CD/DVD burner or external hard drive, I can backup your data so you won't lose your important information.
